Bank View List

The Bank View List on the Main Screen of Fusion Convertor shows the Banks that exist on your selected Volume.

There are two Modes: Direct Mode and Archive Mode.

Direct Mode
This is enabled and available if your Fusion is hooked up via USB to your computer. It represents the internal HD inside the Fusion. This is handy to use when you want to directly interface with the Fusion and add or delete things from it’s internal hard drive.

Archive Mode
You can make an unlimited amount of archives on your computer hard drive without having to have the Fusion hooked up. These represent a whole Volume that can replace the Banks inside the Fusion HD, or fill up a Compact Flash card.

The advantages of Archive Mode is that it allows you faster operation, as the computer hard communicates quicker than the Fusion’s internal hard drive; plus you can do all your work apart from the Fusion and import it into the internal hard drive (or Compact Flash card) in one fell swoop.

To create a New Archive, simply click on the combo box on top of the list a select “Create New Volume”. You then select the location on your hard drive that you want this to go, and then name this Archive. (Note that the name is simply for identification purposes.) You then can import and operate on this Archive as if it was the Volume that the Fusion was viewing.
