Because of the non-computer nature of Akai CD’s and disks, a special browser, called the Akai Browser, is provided so you can view Akai volumes and select what you want to import into the Fusion.

To enable the Akai Browser, click on the Akai Browser button on the Main Screen This replaces the Import List with the Akai Browser. To switch back to the Import List, simply click the Import View button.

To select an Akai object to convert, do one of these things:

• Double-click on the item you want to convert
• Select the item and click the Add Akai button
• Drag it from the Akai Browser onto the Bank View List to convert it immediately without including it in the Import List.

It should be noted that you can perform bulk operations this way; by selecting a Akai Partition or Akai disk. Converting these bulk items creates a Bank for every Akai Volume included.
